Monarch Festival and 50th Anniversary Celebration at the Living Prairie Museum

The annual Monarch Butterfly Festival is back with special activities celebrating 50 years of the Living Prairie Museum. The whole weekend is great for all ages, and admission is free!
Enjoy live butterfly displays and a milkweed plant giveaway. Join special workshops and teachings from community experts and teachers, experience the prairie on a guided hike, and take part in hands-on crafts and activities.
The Prairie Flora plant sale will also return to help visitors start their own butterfly gardens. Displays and activities from several partners will offer more opportunities to learn about butterflies and prairie habitats in Manitoba.
